Methodology - Standard Pressure Washing

Using Mi-TM commercial grade, truck mounted hot water pressure washing skids, we generally begin by isolating our work area (if necessary) with caution tape, wet floor signs, and traffic cones.  Under most circumstances we begin with wide area surface cleaning with 20” Whisper Wash rotary surface cleaners, to break up and dislodge impacted sediment in the porous surface of the masonry.  This lets dirty wash water and silt, run freely and stand in puddles.  After we finish running the surface cleaners over the main body of the surface area, we switch over to traditional hand held lances, to rinse and flush the work area leaving clean bare concrete and masonry.  During the rinse phase, we also detail any stains with the increased cleaning power of the single lance, and also clean any walls, planter boxes, or other vertical items or areas inaccessible to the rotary surface cleaners.  The result is that every square inch of every surface in the scope of work is thoroughly cleaned, including chewing gum spot stain removal.
